Our client, a global leasing organisation seeks a Sales Leader, Construction for their Germany region. The role will entail contacting, developing and closing financial sales opportunities, as well as establishing and maintaining excellent ongoing relationships with customers and partners

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Integrate with equipment sales and operations on a daily basis
Investigate research and understand customer base and distribution methodology
Present finance programs to equipment sales force
Evaluate success by measuring finance volume, penetration and incremental sales
Partner with equipment divisions on developing equipment pricing strategies and subsidy programs
Establish customer relationships and make presentations on finance program offerings
Understand and identify customer needs through a consultative sales approach
Gather credit information on customers, prepare credit package and submit to credit
Work with functional groups on closing finance transactions
Develop training tools for persons and dealers to broaden finance knowledge
Accompany product sales teams/dealers to present and sell the benefits of using financial solutions to acquire product
Educate customers on options for leasing solutions, and best practice for utilizing different financing plans
Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors and funding partners

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Degree (emphasis in accounting, finance or economics) or equivalent work experience
At least five years of experience in financial sales or operations management within a finance company environment
Relevant experience includes working in a captive finance environment, third-party vendor program management or banking
Experience working in the construction equipment industry, industrial equipment industry or heavy machinery industry
Specific knowledge of crane customers and distribution in Germany desirable
Underpinning knowledge of product or similar product would be an advantage, with ability to talk to product changes
Experience in all financial products used
Language Requirements: English and German
