Leading IT financier requires an additional external sales person to further develop business in the public sector. Your role will be to prospect customers directly in the education sector operating at primary, secondary, higher education and further education levels where our client already has a very strong presence and brand.

 

Additionally, those with contacts and knowledge in the NHS / Foundation Trust sector can re-leverage those contacts in this role.

 

This position is a strongly new business centric where you can expect to spend a large amount of time cold calling potential customers by phone, over time and as you build your own customer base your position with become a blend of new business and account management.

 

Your objectives will be to generate £175,000 of gross profit annually and this is typically achieved from activations of c£2.5M , in addition to profit generated from interest you will also have a documentation fee target , but our client has an attractive and innovative sharing of doc fee income to assist 3rd world people.

 

Candidate Profile

 

You will have a successful sales background in leasing & finance, experience of IT & public sector finance would be particularly beneficial but is not a pre requisite but application , determination and drive are fundamentals.

 

You will be commutable to our clients offices in West London and when not in front of customers will be based from those offices, this is not a home based role. High activity levels are the key to success in this role as is a professional, softly spoken and measured approach to your customers.

 

You must be someone who genuinely has the desire and skills to apply themselves to being successful, if you are someone who feels that success can be achieved from 5 customers calls a days then you should certainly not apply.

 

Focused & targeted activity is the key to success and our client will typically expect that you are prospecting 30 or more qualified prospects from their 20,000 strong database daily.

 

Salary range to £35,000 achievement of the above targets will provide a further £30,000 commission providing a very realistic OTE of £65,000 with leading earners in the team you are part of earning over £100,000 in 2008.

 

Commission is paid monthly in arrears and is totally uncapped and becomes payable from the first deal you close with rates rising to 21% of gross profit once above target. All usual large company benefits are provided including a £6,000 a year car allowance.
