Relationship Manager - IT Finance - Midlands 

 

 

Leading technology financier requires an additional Relationship Manager to further develop its presence in the SME and SMB space typically selling full service lease solutions to companies with turnovers from £10M to £25M in size.

 

Your role will involve working closely with group colleagues based at various branch offices in the West and East Midlands in addition to tactically self sourcing business. You will be expected to write £7m of new business in a full year typically at margins of 3.5 to 4.0% over cost of funds.

 

The role has a strong new business element to it and requires a polished, professional and pragmatic performer who has the ability to build relationships internally but critically to move these forward to get in front of CEO , CFO’s and CIO’s to sell our clients very wide range of services and close deals.

 

 

Candidate Profile

 

You will be located on the sales area and have a strong and stable background either in IT finance or asset finance ( our client has no preference ) but ideally you will have experience of selling residual value driven or off balance sheet solutions whatever your asset class experience.

 

You will have strong relationship development skills, be an excellent networker internally and be a politically astute operator, you must be able to get in front of customers and be credible working with influencers and decision makers at board level and across a variety of functions ( finance , purchasing , IT , etc ) .

 

Whilst pure cold calling of prospects is not a large part of the role the ability and your willingness to be able to do this and with confidence will mark you out as a hunter rather than just a farmer which is what our client seeks.

 

Lastly you will be someone who desires and importantly also needs a high income, those who can survive on a base salary alone are expressly invited NOT to apply.

 

 

Salary range extends into the mid, possibly high £40’s and realistically selling at the right profit margins will give potential income to c£80,000 and beyond. Commission is quarterly paid and has been uncapped and high achievers in these roles have earned to comfortably over £100,000 in the past. All usual large company benefits are provided including company car / allowance competitive pension etc.
