Our client a leading bank seeks an additional business development manager to further develop corporate asset finance business across a large area of the east midlands encompassing Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire Lincolnshire and also North Nothamptonshire .

 

Your focus will be on working with your bank colleagues to win new business in addition to managing a large portfolio of existing customers servicing a large number of corporate & commercial bank business centres.

 

Typically 75% of business is currently derived from introductions from the bank and your focus will be across the majority of asset classes and industry sectors but typically on transactions of £150,000 or over.

 

Candidate Profile

 

You will have a demonstrably successful background in bank based asset finance and be this should include in the corporate sector with larger customers and on large transactions. You should live on the sales area and have experience of a full range of products, HP , Loan , Finance Lease , Operating Lease etc.

 

Well developed product knowledge , credit awareness and documentation experience are all pre requisites for the position as is a flair for business development in addition to being able to command the respect and support of your bank colleagues.

 

 

Base salary to £44,000 + 20% on target earnings which is uncapped for high achievers. All usual bank benefits are provided, pension , life & health cover plus a company car.
