Our client is seeking a Marketing Development Manager to provide input into a wide variety of strategic research and development projects and to drive customer service development initiatives

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Contribution to variety strategic and business development projects, including research and monitoring of countries/economies, markets, channels, customers and competitor analysis, as well as strategy development and support for specific business development initiatives and projects
Support for annual strategy, budgeting and planning processes
Think Customer Initiatives, including customer satisfaction tracking, service benchmarking, customer service development projects and programme
Marketing Community performance monitoring and planning - agreeing and driving marketing disciplines, planning, budgeting, strategy and marketing metrics
Marketing Budget planning, maintenance and reporting versus budget

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Experience of financial services (advantage B2B financial services); marketing and strategic marketing topics; (also ideally customer service strategic dimensions)
Essential knowledge of the strategic/strategic marketing development process, including research and analysis, drawing conclusions and recommendations; knowledge of general field research processes; experience of marketing budgeting and metrics
Educated to at least degree level in an appropriate discipline and will have capability and desire to work in a small team with demanding output expectations - often working to tight deadlines, in complex projects and untypical working hours
Ability to lead projects, motivate teams and drive various initiatives without reliance on typical reporting lines
Ability to work across cultural boundaries and build strong working relationships/collaborations - usually virtually
