Account Manager - IT Finance - Midlands or Manchester - Achievable £100,000 earning potential

Our client a highly respected and successful international financier of IT products & services requires an additional Account Manager to develop business with corporate customers selling to CFO’s , CEO’s , IT , Purchasing , Tax , Treasury etc. Your role will be to self generate from cold calling and other prospecting activities , including tactically leveraging opportunities from IT vendors , typically 3 to 5 customer appointments a week that can generate £2m of new business in year 1 generating £150,000 of profit. You will inherit some customers but the role should be seen as one of new business development.
Candidate Profile
Our client is flexible on location for anyone based from the South Midlands to as far North as Manchester. You must have very strong business development skills including a real willingness to cold call. You should have a demonstrable record of achievement and have a high earnings need and be highly numerate and literate.
The ideal profile is someone with a background selling IT finance solutions but those with a generalist asset finance background who have worked in environment where your source your own business are very welcome to apply.
If you have worked in an environment where your business has been largely derived from referrals from a parent bank or brokers or very largely vendors / dealers then you will need to convince our client that you have the business generation skills that you will need to succeed in their environment.
Base salary to £30,000 with on target earnings of £60,000. Commission is payable on every deal closed and is uncapped. Very aggressive accelerators apply once 100% has been achieved typically a 120% performance would deliver earnings of £100,000. 60% of the team you would be a part of are earning over £100,000 with the top earner making c£135,000.
