Our client a global technology financier requires an additional Financing Account Manager to further develop its presence in both the mid market and the public sector with customers typically investing over £3m per annum in IT products & services. Typically 2/3 of your time will be focused on commercial customers in the mid market and 1/3 on public sector.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Establish relationships and sell the benefits of tailored financing programmes to resellers/partners
Interface and build relationships with key end-user customers supported by the partner account managers and sell the benefits of financing offerings
Close sales opportunities with end-user customers in partnership with own and reseller sales teams by structuring custom financial offerings to meet unique end-user requirements
Participate in Partner sales meetings and educate them to the features and benefits of selling with finance
Prepare and give end-user presentations along with proposals and marketing material for specific offerings
Maintain and monitor agreed service level commitments to the partner sales and reseller sales personnel
Conduct due diligence checks and assemble necessary credit information in preparing and submitting credit proposals

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Ideal location: South of Birmingham
Strong IT leasing background - Minimum 4 to 5 years leasing industry experience
An achiever demonstrating strategic selling competencies
Major account manager with technology channel experience (managing an indirect vendor sales force)
Experience in deal structuring and customising transaction offerings
Experience in selling the benefits of a full service package
Proactive, dedicated, driven and self motivated
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Strong English written, oral communication and negotiation skills
Good team player with the ability to prioritise, good presentations skills, computer literate, ability to listen, understand and problem solve
Self-starting, well organised with the ability to work independently
Strong credit and documentation knowledge
