Area Manager – IT Finance Mid Market & Public Sector – South of Birmingham 

Our client a global technology financier requires an additional Area Manager to further develop its presence in both the mid market and the public sector with customers typically investing >£3m per annum in IT products & services. Typically 2/3 of your time will be focused on commercial customers in the mid market and 1/3 on public sector.

 

The position is described as more of a transactional one meaning the nature of the role is such that you could finance £1m with a customer and then nothing for the next 6 months. Your role will be to sell the value proposition of residual value driven full service lease solutions to both new and existing customers and to achieve a target typically of £12.5M per annum.

 

 

Candidate Profile

 

Ideally you will be based south of Birmingham but our client operates nationally and will consider a strong candidate based in the North of England. You should have an IT leasing background , ideally be finance house trained and have a good understanding of accounts & accounting standards  , credit and documentation. Knowledge of public sector finance is considered an advantage but is not a pre-requisite.

 

You must be able thrive in a complex large company environment and be a demonstrable high achiever who has consistently achieved targets.

 

 

Salary to £50,000 and that level the on target earnings are £80,000 ( 60/40 mix ) . Commission is quarterly paid and is uncapped.  Excellent earning potential exists with 75% of the UK sales team having earned > £100,000 if the last year. All large company benefits are all provided including car allowance c£6500 , life cover , health cover , pension etc.
