Business Development Managers - Vendor ICT - UK Nationwide

One of the UK’s largest & fastest growing financiers of high technology products and services are now rapidly expanding their sales force in 2009 to take strategic advantage of market opportunities created by the down sizing or retreat from the sector of a number of previous finance providers.
Our client has a powerful range of products and services to offer to technology vendors and their customers including a wide range of funders to maximize chances of funding all opportunities and the ability to white label programmes for major vendors using receivables funding solutions.
They are now seeking nationally a significant numbers of new Business Development Managers to identify, prospect, win, develop and then manage new vendor relationships in the technology finance sector.
Your objective will be to win new business that ensures that by month 7 in the role you are writing at least £10,000 a month of gross profit.
Our client has a number of successful staff who consistently write over £20,000 a month of gross profit so the expectations are considered both achievable and reasonable.
Candidate Profile
You could be based anywhere in the UK where you have good access to vendors operating in the technology sector.
You should have a background in vendor driven technology finance and ideally should also have vendor contacts that you can re leverage in a new environment.
You must have a record of consistent sustained and demonstrable record of achievement and be someone who does not sell on price alone.
Above all you must be a self starter with a strong new business hunter mentality and a hunger to earn a high income in a bureaucracy free meritocracy that has very good job security and promotion prospects for consistent performers.
Salary to £42,000 with 10% commission on all income generate including fees up to first £10,000 , thereafter commission rates rise steeply to 30% at £20,000 gross profit per month and ultimately rises to c40% at higher levels.
Realistic year two income is expected to be £100,000 +
Commission is uncapped and payable monthly in arrears. All large company benefits apply including a £6,000 per annum car allowance.
